NumericalFISH
NumericalFISH is a graphical tool for easy analysis of BLAST or BLAT results, especially aimed at the study of duplications or
segmental duplications.
Main advantages:
- NumericalFISH uses a two
dimensional display which allows a precise
localization of BLAST/BLAT hits on the genome.
- NumericalFISH allows users to
filter hits using thresholds (% of length, % of
similarity).
- NumericalFISH retrieves retrieve information concerning each hit from the databases of ENSEMBL.
- Publication-ready images can be saved under
various formats.
- NumericalFISH default installation can be used on several
published genomes, and new genomes can be simply added (though they
will not be displayed using high quality representations of the
banding pattern, as done for the human genomes, except if
you load yourself such representations).
